The sun is up and the water is slowly receding. Baptiste Lake Dam is doing what it was supposed to. Protect us from extreme flooding. If the dam was not here there would have been devastation downstream. The flooding in Bancroft was controlled and in good hands. This proves that having this kind of planning is important. We need to maintain the dam and improve it.  It has saved property and lives.
